Thomas Böhm, born in 1968, works as a journalist, literary mediator and author. From 1999 to 2010 he served as Director of the Literaturhaus Köln literary society, and from 2011 to 2014 as Program Director of the international literature festival berlin (ilb). On several occasions, he has curated the Guest of Honor appearances of Iceland (2011) and Norway (2019) at the Frankfurt Book Fair, and for Switzerland at the Leipzig Book Fair (2014). He has been editor of the “Aufbau Literatur Kalender” since 2018 and host of the program “Die Literaturagenten” on radioeins (rbb) since 2014. Most recently, he wrote the radio play tie-ins to the TV series “Babylon Berlin” based on the novels by Volker Kutscher, and published “Die Wunderkammer des Lesens” (2023).
