Christine Watty, a journalist, lives in Berlin and works as editorial director and presenter at Deutschlandfunk Kultur. She supervises and presents radio programs - and currently also teaches radio journalism at university. She has been hosting book talks on the Blue Sofa since 2018. She also designs and develops new digital formats for cultural content on linear radio. Her thematic focus is always on culture and politics, as well as the associated social discourse and debates.
