Viennese star investigator Johann „Jacket” Winkler arrives at a crime scene that has the police mystified. The victim has been gruesomely butchered and marked with a mysterious word: GESTEHE. However, it is not the brutality that rattles Jacket’s world, but the fact that he knows the crime scene – from his own unpublished novel, which no one has read yet. It bears the title GESTEHE. And Jacket suspects that the murders have only just begun.
