Filip is nineteen years old and spends his time playing soccer and listening to Bryan Ferry on his walkman. He lives with his parents and his grandfather Arnstein, fence to fence with his brother Truls. But the brothers haven't spoken to each other for many years. Something dark is buried deep beneath this silence. Back then, when the First World War was raging, the two brothers were sent to Nordmarka every summer by their father. Full of wonder and awe, they explored the vast forests and felt like their rulers. Until one day an unimaginable misfortune happens that tears the bond between the brothers apart. Many years later only Filip is able to get to the bottom of the story behind the silence.
