Cécile Schortmann has been the presenter of the “Kulturzeit” magazine show on 3sat since 2008. She gained her first journalistic experience in radio, television and film (including AntenneBayern, Deutsche Welle and ORB) while studying theater studies, art history, and psychology in Munich. After a traineeship at Hessischer Rundfunk, she has worked there since 1997, presenting the culture magazine “Hauptsache Kultur,” among others. Since March 2008, she has presented “Kulturzeit” on 3sat and hosts special programs on cultural events such as the Berlinale, documenta, and book fair, as well as award ceremonies and panel discussions.
