Lara Sielmann is a cultural journalist and literary critic. She works as an editor and author for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and is a presenter of readings and panel discussions on stage. She is an occasional lecturer at the FU Berlin, works as a juror for the Peter Huchel Prize and the Wortmeldungenförderpreis, among others, and has curated the discursive reading series "Berliner Gegenwartsliteraturen" since 2021.
