Irma, 40, has turned the „Zum Hirschen” restaurant into a popular vegetarian eatery called the „Aubergine.” The creative owner employs a motley crew: a 17-year-old school dropout as the go-to girl; a gossipy assistant cook; a former globetrotter as waiter and manager. And the 80-year-old „vegetable guy” who helps chop vegetables and is supposedly almost deaf. And as in any close-knit community, there are not only positive vibes, but also some turbulence.
