Sia Piontek is the alias of a former publishing director who has already published several novels. After her debut "The Seeing and the Dead", "The Wolf in the Woods" is the second book in her new crime series featuring Carla Seidel and set in the stunning Wendland region. When Piontek isn’t busy writing, she teaches creative writing and works as a freelance editor. She and her daughter share their time between Hamburg and Wendland.
